Thank you Letter

Today I wanted to write a blog about my school and to appreciate what they have done in my life and in others to. So the first time I came to the school Hornby Primary School we are sponsored by Manaia Kalani. I actually want to thank everyone in Ako Ngatahi for all the great support that have done in sport Summits. I want to thank Jared and Patrick for being my friends I won't forget you. During these terms in Hornby Primary School I have learnt a lot and I just really want to thank Miss Scott for all her support and for actually driving me to Basketball and also to touch. Last month I heard that I was moving to Australia and there was so much to do and we were leaving this house on the third of January so that's why I don't really go to school during week 8-9. I also want to thank all of the people that support me in Kids For Kids, Sports or anything like Choir and ukulele group or anything else I have missed. I really want to thank my Filipino friends for everything they have done like staying after school to play tag I really had fun and by the way I always fall asleep a soon as i get back home because I how much fun I had during that little time at the play ground. Playing sports means a lot to me mostly playing Basketball, Soccer and also Rugby. I just really want to say thank you for everything that you guys have done during these couple of terms and also if i have missed something i just really want to say thank you for that to. And i wanna thank Mrs Mclachlan for all that she has done because on the first term i was here I didn't know how to do a quality blog post and now i know how to do a quality blog post. And all I want to say is that I love you all thank you again.

The Super Rugby Cup

Today I will be doing a blog about the Super rugby cup. This year the Crusaders won the super rugby and they their Rugby cup put at our school. The good thing was that we got to have a picture with the cup. The Crusaders represent the Canterbury side. I just wanna say thank you Crusaders you make us proud to who we are. Christmas song

Today I was making a song about Christmas and I made one. It was kind of easy because it was easy to make the words rhyme. What I found easy was writing it because I write my own songs so it was easy. What I found hard was trying to screenshot it because it wouldn't save when I try putting it on my blog. It was really fun because I put in like what I like for example my favourite soccer player is Cristiano Ronaldo and I I put him into my song that i made just today.

Hi Guys 

Today you will be learning about the best team of the year which is 'REALMADRID'. Realmadrid had tried there best to get this level. It was a good thing but there was bad news because the most valuable player named Cristiano Ronaldo. Cristiano Ronaldo is moving to another team and they paid him 500 million dollars for him to play for the Juventus team. What I have learnt from this team is to not give up. Technology Redesign

W.A.L.T design and recreate a food package that will reduce waste.

Hey guys today we have been learning about rubbish and the problem is that many companies make food packaging out of plastic. All this plastic is ending up in your environment. All of our plastic was sent to China and our landfill is probably filled up with rubbish mostly plastic things like plastic bags, glad wrap and all things that are made out of plastic. Our class have been thinking of making over plastic things and make them better like making a container out of paper. This design will be made by me and my friend Patrick and we will be redesigning a zip lock bag.

Armistice day

Hi guys 
I know that I have done this Topic a lot of times in my blogs well I hope you are not tired of learning about these men. So today I had to do a dlo about armistice day. What was challenging when I was recording was that was only I think my 5th time recording and putting on my blog. What wasn't that hard was when I had to do my google drawing. I am proud to what I am now. I am not tired of telling you about these men because this men would of done there own thing but no they actually didn't just ignore war but they went and sacrificed themselves. Singing with the family in the weekend

Hi guys

Today I will be telling you about me singing with my cousin and sister and brother. Singing is a really hard thing to do as long as you believe in yourself and you will do it. And when your singing don't think about others because that might just put you off I mean they might put you down and that's not good. When it was my first time singing I couldn't even sing. Well the only words my dad said to me is to not think what other people think of me. So now I know how to sing. What was challenging was that I had to sing with people at the church and I was shy because it was the first time that I have ever went to that church. I looked at them like a homeless man it was horrible as soon as they shook my hand I got miserable. So as soon as she shook my hand my mother told me that was our cousins. Now I can really sing with my family not only my family but other people even though they do something bad like mocking me well in my heart I am a good singer. Summer learning Journey Practice

Today my class was doing Summer Learning Journey. So today we had to watch a movie about the country that we had chosen for. The countries were only Australia, Japan, South Africa, Canada, Malaysia, Chile, United Arab Emirates and Germany and I done Japan.

This show is physical I would give this a ***** star because it is so funny and it is really cool it's kind of like Kakashi and Naruto. My favorite part was when the puppet beats up the the monsters. The best part was when the robbers steel the money and the police goes after them and when the robbers pull out a gun and shoots it but no one gets injured. It was difficult to make the gr-affix good. In New Zealand a good Tv series is Home and away

Armistice Day

I am learning to make connections to our prior knowledge, books we have already and read things that happen in the real world.
Welcome back to my blog today I will be talking about Armistice Day. Armistice day was on the 11 hour and the 11 month of 1918. Armistice day was the treaty that New Zealand made in the world war 1. Here are 3 facts that I know that is related to Armistice Day. And 3 of them are:
There were only 41,000  that went home.

There were 98,000 men that were at war.

We celebrate Armistice day to remember what they done at war.

If I was in war I wouldn't have the courage to ever go and do such thing. I am proud of the New Zealand men. If I was the one that had to say something the only words I would say is thank you.

SoundCloud

Hi guys today I will be doing based on a website called soundcloud. Soundcloud is a website were you put your music and I have been working on this for almost fro 4 years now it is really hard to make on your first time. What was challenging was that sometimes it doesn't save and it is so hard to make it again because I would have to start it again so that's what I found challenging.  today we had buddy time and it was so fun. Sometimes it was challenging but Vj my buddy managed to get there. What he found easy was to read books and also listen to me play guitar. He is a good listener at times. He can do his spelling reading and also read other languages. Vj says " I am good at doing reading ". When Vj is older he wants to be a police. I have been working on numberlines I have worked on this for two days and it has been fun because using numberlines are easy. It was kind of tricky on your first time doing this numberline strategy.

Swimming

Hi there today I will be talking about my swimming. We started swimming 2 weeks ago. What I learnt from going swimming was that when we are in the sea that is shallow we can make a circle and to put the little kids in the middle and that is what I learnt about swimming. What was fun and cool is that I stayed as a star fish for one minute and that is what I think is good. What was challenging was using googles because that was the first ever time using googles when I swim. I feel so guilty not going swimming for a whole week next time I will bring my togs and hopefully I will bring my togs everyday. Here are some videos of my class at the swimming pool.

The End Of Year Test

The W.A.L.T: is prepare for our end of the year comprehension and STAR test.

 Hi Everybody in this blog I will be talking about my reading test that is about to happen at the star of the year in febuary.   . This year I will be aiming to get to Stanine 5 or over.

This is my first time doing this test. If you wanted to know what STAR means it means Standardizes Testing And Reporting. What i'm gonna do to make me focused is that I will always drink water every 5 question I get so it can make me focused on my work when I am thirsty. This test is for year 4-6   I hope that everyone that does this test good luck.

The STAR test is a reading test and I think that it is the hardest out of all of them. There are 3 types of tests STAR, Maths and Reading.

My Facts About Japan

Hello welcome back to my blog I have been learning about this only last week . And there will be also facts about this big country. Today we will be learning about Japan. In Japan there is 6482 islands. The capital city is Tokyo.

Japanese people play Soccer, Rugby, Karate and Sumo. To be honest I think that the Japanese have done a great job in the soccer in the soccer world cup. Japan has around 13 million  people living in the capital of Japan. On January the temperature in Japan is 11 to 14c. Countries around Japan has there own type of fighting. Korea does taikwondo China does Kung fu but Japan has got a two and that is sumo and Karate.

I think that doing facts about Japan is very fun and I would love to do it again in my free writing time.

I was wasting time just standing there waiting for the horn to blow  in basketball so then I

 In the Holidays I stayed awake playing fortnite on my computer until my dad saw me and
was so bored the only game I could play was flappy bird and it was so boring I just gave it to my dad and he said good so now you can lay and when and when we were almost there I had to run 3 kilometres and another 1 kilometre so I can get to my cousins house and I had fun and was also playing fortnite on my cousins playstation 4 .

My angriest ever dream

Hi there,

So today I was thinking and I thought it would be good to put in blog the best  ever dream. So In my dream I dreamed about having a modern house and a new car everyday I even had heaps of ammo so  I can get some lamb to eat. I was getting angry because the lamb was running away so I quickly got a hammer and hit on the lamb, I hit on the lamb so it doesn't have any legs and that it can't run. So when I went to my modern house. As soon as I got back home it was flooding with paint I suddenly ran out of the house and forgot to get my car suddenly I heard a sound that went beep beep I knew that was my car because I live next to no one. I just noticed that my phone was in my car  I was so angry because I could never get fortnite because I forgot my PS4 in my house. Since that happened I could never live in a good house or get a cool car. That was the end of my dream I hope that you never have this dream.

BODY SYSTEM

Hi there

So today we're  gonna be learning about a part of your brain called hypothalamus. So your hypothalamus helps you know when to go to sleep and when you have hurt yourself. The hypothalamus is very very helpful. If you were born with no hypothalamus you wouldn't be alive. Most people that has cancer mostly have it because they have a brain damage which is obviously something to do with your hypothalamus. Make sure you don't stay awake on stuff everyday because you can have cancer like other people.

Michael Jordan

Hello there

So today I'm gonna be talking about a well known basketball player called Michael Jordan. This guy owns a basketball court and it's  named after him. This man grew up and he went to a basketball  court that his brother played basketball. Michael Jordan asked if he could play basketball. They said no but now all of them look up to Michael Jordan because now he is the best and he has scored 38 points or even over.

My really worst dream

Hi guys

Today I'm gonna tell you about my scariest dream. So my scariest dream was about a guy staring at me outside with my jacket. He looked like me but I thought that he was my neighbor. I closed my eyes and I looked outside and he got closer to me I felt so scared that I even thought that it wasn't a dream and it was really happening I tried to wake up but my mind kept telling me to keep dreaming or it will happen in real life and you will have the same scary dream everyday so I stayed in my dream and yelled mum but there was no answer I said mum again but there was still no answer I was so scared and that night I never blinked until dawn. I was so scared I even hired people from the air force but I could never ever forget what experienced outside my window.

Why I play instrments

Today I'm gonna talk about why I play instruments. I play instruments because it makes me feel happy and when the music is not working I can play the instruments to cover up for the music that couldn't work. I also play instruments because to make me feel like happy. I like playing instruments because Ican actually make a song and even make the composing for the song that I've had.

Solving Problems

Hi guys for the last few weeks I've  been learning about fractions and how to solve problems. And this is how I solved my problem

   

So what I done was I drew a circle and counted how many parts I divided the circle  into and pieces and I counted 3 out of the eight and then since there 4 more left I counted it  and it equaled 64 and that was how I got the answer for my math.

Tonga

Hi there so today I'm gonna be talking about my culture which is Tonga . This week is Tongan language week. So what I'm gonna share today is all about my country. My country almost made it to the final in Rugby League 2017 but they lost to England. In Rugby League they bet New Zealand 22-29 That was history because that was the first time that it ever happened to Tonga. In Tonga there are 175 islands that make up Tonga.

Hi there so I'm gonna be talking about world war 2. And there was a man that called Desmond Doss he was a big hero he even healed people from the enemies which was the Japanese.This guy was a good man because he stood up for his own understanding which was to not kill someone. He was awesome because he didn't even have a gun when he went to war. 

This is Desmond Doss when he was awarded twice the Bronze Star Medal for actions in Guam and the Philippines. He is so awesome. Hope you enjoyed learning about Desmond Doss I hope you have learnt something from this piece.

True story of the three little pigs

좋은 아침 (good morning)

So today I'm gonna be talking about the 'true story of the three little pigs.'The true story was about how the wolf just needed a cup of sugar for his grannies birthday but he ran out of sugar so he went off to his neighbors house and asked the first pig for a cup of sugar he was so sick he sneezed and broke the first pigs house and he saw it left outside so he ate the little pig up. He went to the second pigs house and said open the door little pig but the little pig didn't even open the door so the wolf sneezed and then it broke the second little pigs house that was made out of sticks. He done the same thing and ate the second pig up. Then he went to the third little pigs house he was a bit more smarter and built his house out of bricks and he puffed and huffed and but he couldn't blow the third little pigs house and he said to the third pig I just needed sugar for my grandma's birthday but the third little pig said your grandma can sit on a pin and the wolf doesn't like people teasing his grandmother so he threw up and he was in jail for the rest of his life

So we have been learning about a antagonist and a protagonist so first a protagonist is a main character and a antagonist is a villain.The first story was how the three little pigs went out to seek there fortune until a wolf came and ate them and the other one was about the big bad wolf trying to get sugar for his grandma but ate the little 2 pigs got eaten and the big bad wolf was in jail.
